Sod Installation Steps
1. Soil Preparation: Remove existing vegetation, rocks, and debris. Loosen the soil to a depth of 2-4 inches and amend with organic matter if necessary.
2. Grading: Ensure the soil is graded to promote proper drainage away from buildings and prevent water pooling.
3. Irrigation: Install an irrigation system or ensure adequate water supply for the sod's establishment period.
4. Sod Delivery: Schedule sod delivery for the day of installation to maintain freshness.

5. Laying Sod: Start laying sod along a straight edge, such as a sidewalk or driveway. Stagger the joints in a brick-like pattern to avoid visible seams.

6. Trimming: Use a sharp knife or sod cutter to trim the sod around obstacles like trees, flower beds, or curbs.

7. Watering: Immediately after installation, water the sod thoroughly to ensure good soil contact and root establishment.
8. Maintenance: Avoid heavy foot traffic for the first few weeks and keep the sod consistently moist until it establishes.
